One of the very first people I knew who was a heart attack survivor was my Uncle Bill. He was young, handsome and energetic, and had a booming voice. Through his experience we learned about eating healthy and exercise. Prevention of heart disease was unheard of those forty plus years ago and we all listened and adjusted our lifestyles. That is where my interest in cardiology began, who would have thought that my first real job would be for a cardiologist in Evansville. I'm still here working and have seen so many advances in diagnostics and treatment during these many years. There are more advances in the future, can't wait to see what is coming!
