Ft. Wayne Heart Ball

the event

A Celebration of creating and sharing. Our evening celebrates: our work and mission; our donors and volunteers; and — most importantly — the lives saved and improved because of everyone’s effort.

The Fort Wayne Heart Ball benefits research, public education and community programs of the American Heart Association and its mission-related activities in Allen County. In the previous five years, the American Heart Association has funded 77 studies at six Indiana institutions with an investment of $10.25 million.  Breakthroughs have been made, but many research questions remain.

Open Your Heart
This year, the American Heart Association is humbly asking you to 'open your heart' to support a special initiative addressing the critical issue of children's heart health.

Research on heart-related birth defects, the alarming increase in childhood obesity and teaching children about the importance of nutrition and exercise are just a few of the issues this initiative supports.
