Heart disease is still the No. 1 killer of women, taking the life of 1 in 3 women each year. On average, nearly 24 women die from heart disease and stroke in Indiana each day. But it can be prevented. Our 2012 chair is Joyce Irwin, National Director, State Government Affairs for Roche Diagnostics.
